We are making a difference

Our Emphasis

Equine assisted activities are used to achieve psycho-educational goals for people with physical, mental, and psychological impairments as well as to provide the individual with skills in the sport chosen. The emphasis is to incorporate cognitive, behavioral, psychological, and physical goals into the program plan while teaching adaptive riding. The horse is a strong motivator for accomplishing these goals below.

Our Horses

But now, after two years of rehab, I work at Trinity Therapy Riding Center. Even though I’m still getting used to scary things like crying kids, I’m the #1 therapy horse here.

(Don’t tell the others I said that, though!) I’m the first horse for many new riders at the ranch, and am really happy to be working here.

I hope you like it here just as much as I do!

Hello, I’m Joker! I’m a 21 year old Belgium Draft cross gelding from Norco. Because I had to stay in a small, 12x12 stall, I got sad and lonely, and formed arthritis in my hip from not being able to move.

Hello there, I’m Frosty! I’m an American Quarter horse gelding, and am 16 years old (even if I like to pretend I’m an old man).

I come all the way from Texas, where I lived as a working ranch horse. I came out here to California so I could trail rides, but then my owner’s husband got sick with cancer.

My old buddy, Jake, and I, sat around without working for a while, and I ended forming a navicular. Sadly, my owner’s husband passed away, and so then I was kindly donated to Trinity Therapy Riding Center.

Mrs. Stephanie has been helping my navicular for 4 years now, and I like to think that I’m the #1 horse for the kiddos!

I was donated to Trinity Therapy Riding Center when my previous owner believed I got a soft tissue injury.

My injury turned out to be a navicular, but thanks to the farrier working on me for a year and a half,

I’m feeling much more comfortable these days. I’m still in rehab, but that doesn’t mean I’m not amazing at riding lessons!

Ladybug, at your service! I’m a 12 year old mare American Quarter horse.

Hey, Ms. Sis here! I’m a 26 year old mare American Quarter horse, and am just a simple old ranch horse. I was used for breeding and I had a nice home, but since I only really got to go on a few trail rides, I work here at Trinity Therapy Riding Center!

I love the lessons here, and would love it even more if we would be able to go on a trail ride together.
