Hello, I’m Joker! I’m a 21 year old Belgium Draft cross gelding from Norco. Because I had to stay in a small, 12x12 stall, I got sad and lonely, and formed arthritis in my hip from not being able to move.
But now, after two years of rehab, I work at Trinity Therapy Riding Center. Even though I’m still getting used to scary things like crying kids, I’m the #1 therapy horse here.
Joker is an 24 year old Belgium Draft horse. He was found in a 12x12 stall that had no room for him to move around in. Because he was kept in such a small stall he developed arthritis in his hip. He has gone through therapy when he was brought to TTRC. Joker was used in the therapeutic lessons until his hip could no longer keep up. He is now sits in his pasture enjoying life.
I come all the way from Texas, where I lived as a working ranch horse. I came out here to California so I could trail rides, but then my owner’s husband got sick with cancer.
My old buddy, Jake, and I, sat around without working for a while, and I ended forming a navicular. Sadly, my owner’s husband passed away, and so then I was kindly donated to Trinity Therapy Riding Center.
Ladybug, at your service! I’m a 12 year old mare American Quarter horse. I was donated to Trinity Therapy Riding Center when my previous owner believed I got a soft tissue injury.
My injury turned out to be a navicular, but thanks to the farrier working on me for a year and a half,
